Hello I’m Eyan, my pronouns are he/him.

I am continuously fascinated by social constructs and the creation of such. Using the intersection of Queer, Trans, Feminist, Emotion, and Genre theories I examine gender and sexuality constructs in medieval literature. As a self professed nerd, the medievalism motifs present in much of pop culture resonates with me as a space to explore connections between the medieval and the modern. I’m also openly transgender, queer, and I do my best to be active in my community with issues of social justice.

On a lighter note, I’m also dad to three wonderful greyhounds-Ripley, Starbuck, and Falcon. I live in the Chicago suburbs with my partner, and work for my local library when not pursuing higher ed.
